Laura Hauser teaches for Fielding Graduate University’s coaching program, providing graduate-level education and practical skills building required to become a certified coach with the International Coach Federation. She oversees the skills development of her students, serving as an individual and small-group supervisor. Having a passion for coach education, she is an active board member of the Graduate School Alliance of Education in Coaching. Her teaching focuses on advanced principles of organizations and leadership, executive and team coaching, and coach education.
In addition to her academic practice, Hauser’s business career spans over 40 years. She worked internally in both specialist and management roles for 18 years and founded Leadership Strategies International in 1991. She works with corporate leaders who want to unite people toward a compelling vision, build innovative and cohesive teams, and strengthen leadership skills required for the delivery of sound business results. She has partnered with executives, senior managers and their teams in the United States and abroad at Sony Computer Entertainment America, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, Nestlé USA, Tyson Foods, Bacardi BV, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Johnson & Johnson, CareFusion and Southern California Gas Company.
Hauser wrote the chapter on team and group coaching in the textbook, The Handbook of Knowledge-Based Coaching (2011). The results of her empirical study about team coaching were featured in the July 2014 special edition of the Journal of Psychological Issues in Organizational Culture.
