MS in Organization Development
The MSOD program incorporates a blend of online and face-to-face sessions, including three international field experiences accompanied by expert Pepperdine faculty and alumni mentors. Our program connects students from all over the world and is among the best leadership programs nationwide. Because of this unique program design, students from all over the world are able to participate in the program. For more information on dates and locations, please view the program schedule.
Educational Framework
The MSOD program uses a variety of learning technologies and multi-outcome designs, such as experiential and self-managed learning, lectures, fieldwork, video, and the Internet. The program is designed for employed professionals who can apply class material at the workplace. All sessions are designed from four perspectives:
- Core knowledge areas expose students to key concepts and frameworks through readings, presentations, and written assignments
- A peer learning group serves as a source of feedback on progress as well as a base of alternative experiences that contribute to professional growth
- Hands-on fieldwork demonstrates key principles and sharpens practical skills
- World-renowned faculty from Pepperdine University and prominent international guest speakers provide a resource-rich environment where peers, senior practitioners, and experts meet in seminars to challenge themselves and the practice of organization development
