MSOD Academic Experience
MS in Organization Development
At Pepperdine, we believe the educational process is as important as the subject matter. We are as interested in developing the whole person as we are in understanding organization change.
Be Part of a Learning Community
Your MSOD class will comprise a cohort of approximately 30 people from all over the world. During each session, students will stay in condominium-style accommodations. Meals are taken together to enrich the close-knit learning community and to leverage personal accountability, communication, and resource exchange. The creation of a "learning community" is fundamental to the MSOD experience.
Personal and Professional Development
The first session of the program provides an intense focus on personal growth. Through experiential learning, students deepen their knowledge of themselves as instruments of change. They will also clarify needed work in their behavioral style, ethical practices, and values orientation. We believe the true worth of OD practitioners is measured not by the skills or techniques they possess. Rather, it is by their ability to produce superior results. Therefore, the integration of OD knowledge with self-awareness is essential to creating powerful interventions and increased effectiveness.
