Degree Posting and Diploma
Following the completion of the program, PGBS will send a finalized graduation list to the Registrar’s Office to conduct an official and final review of degree requirements. Upon confirmation all requirements have been met and receipt of the Intent of Graduate application, your degree will be posted on your transcript based on the timeline outlined below. To order your official transcripts, please visit the Office of the University Registrar.
Timeline for degree posting on the transcript:
Graduates in the fall term: 4 weeks following the official term end
Graduates in the spring and summer terms: 3 weeks following the official term end
Diploma jackets are distributed at the ceremony. The diploma certificate will be mailed to you approximately 120 days after your degree is posted. It is important that you check your student account to verify a "zero balance" status and have completed the loan exit counseling, if one is noted in your WaveNet To Do List. If a balance remains on your account, no matter how small, and the exit counseling has not been completed, the Registrar's Office will not mail your diploma or official transcripts.
It is your responsibility to contact the Office of the University Registrar if there is a change of address OR if you are having your diploma sent to an international address. Your certificate is a legal document and cannot be duplicated if sent to an incorrect address. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you verify the address on file, via WaveNet, prior to commencement. International addresses require the address in the country's language and characters.
You may visit the Herff Jones website or the campus bookstore to purchase an official Pepperdine University diploma frame.
