2023-2024 Tuition Charges and Fees by Program

Each program's total cost of attendance will vary depending on the number of units taken over the course of the program. All tuition rates are subject to an annual increase of 2–5%.

Funding Options

You may be eligible to apply for federal student aid and private scholarship opportunities to help fund your graduate education. Use these resources for more information about financial aid options available to students.

A number of additional financial resources may be available to you, including scholarships funded by professional organizations, employer tuition assistance, and student loans. Pepperdine students may be eligible to apply for the following loan options:

  • Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans: Students are potentially eligible to receive up to $20,500 per academic year with the Direct Unsubsidized Loan. The potential eligibility amount of the Direct Unsubsidized Loan is not based on need nor income.
  • Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loans: Graduate students who are eligible for funds beyond their annual Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan amount may apply for this credit-based loan up to the cost of attendance budget.
  • Private Loans: Students who require additional assistance may apply for education loans through private lenders.

In accordance with the U.S. Department of Education's regulations, universities are required to consistently apply reasonable standards for evaluating Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) for all students regardless if he/she is a financial aid recipient.

Financial Aid Application Process

Financial aid may take several weeks to process; therefore, students are encouraged to apply for financial aid at least eight weeks prior to the cohort start date. Students must reapply for financial aid each academic year. 

To be eligible for federal student aid, an applicant must:

  • Be a US citizen or resident alien.
  • Not be in student loan default.
  • Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program.
  • Be enrolled at least half-time to borrow federal loans.

Federal Student Aid

The FAFSA is available October 1st for the upcoming academic year. New students planning to use federal student aid should complete the FAFSA while applying for admission; you do not need to wait until you are admitted.

Continuing students will need to submit a FAFSA each year they plan to receive federal student aid. Eligibility for federal student aid does not carry over from one award year to the next, you will need to complete the FAFSA for each award year for which you are or plan to enroll.
