Through an holistic, experiential approach, the Pepperdine Graziadio MS in Applied Finance (MSAF) prepares students for a finance-related career with an emphasis on practical application. Whether you choose the 12- or 15-month program, you'll build a strong conceptual foundation in areas such as business valuation, equity analysis, financial accounting, and investment banking. As an added bonus, our STEM-designated curriculum identifies key topics and courses that will better prepare you for the Chartered Financial Analyst exam.
Reach even further beyond your masters degree with the option to apply your MS in Applied Finance towards core MBA requirements, allowing you to earn an MBA in as little as 15-months. Through an optional fourth trimester internship practicum, you'll be able to leverage your learning in real-world business situations.

STEM Curriculum: Our experiential-based curriculum follows the required guidelines to receive STEM designation, allowing for F-1 students to apply for a 24-month optional practical training (OPT) extension.
Access to Industry Resources: As a MS in Applied Finance student, you'll have exclusive access to our Bloomberg Professional Services terminals on campus.
Curricular Track Options: Tailor your degree towards your goals with a choice of two curricular specializations in financial management or investments. You may also extend your degree to earn an MBA in as little as 15 months.
Optional Practical Training (OPT): International students with an F-1 visa are eligible to apply for 12-month option practical training (OPT).
