How We Deliver Excellence

The goal of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) is to deliver a business education that has both relevant and practical value. To enhance our teaching effectiveness, we continually expand our understanding of current marketplace dynamics affecting working professionals given current and future economic challenges.

Simultaneously, we express the mission and values of the Graziadio Business School and Pepperdine University through a culture of learning assessment, evidence-based decisions in teaching and learning, and innovation in business education through the best in blended learning.

By combining the best in on-ground and online teaching methodologies, we deliver a practice-relevant business education to an ever expanding academic community. Technology also helps us to engage with our students in an exchange of blended learning experiences to help make our programs even more effective.

Our goal is to use real-world technology and analytics, tightly integrated with the marketplace to help our faculty equip business practitioners to succeed."

Faculty Newsletter

The Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE) provides a voice for faculty to share insights about classroom pedagogy. To enhance our teaching effectiveness we continually strive to build our skills in delivering content and design creative ways to engage students. With that in mind, this issue features two faculty who share helpful insights on participation assessment and online learning activities.

Quantifiable Success

Our mission is to advance innovation in business education that is relational, experiential, applied, and learner-focused (R.E.A.L.). We facilitate a culture of learning assessment, evidence-based decisions in teaching and learning, and innovation in business education through blended learning. We achieve this through:
