MBA/Master of Public Policy Program

Earn Your Joint MBA/MPP Degree at Graziadio Business School

The Pepperdine three-year MBA/MPP provides tools of analysis and encourages moral decisiveness among students ready to delve into societal, community, and global issues in policy design. This joint degree program requires a total of 85 units: 38 units of the public policy curriculum and 47 units of business school courses.

Graziadio Business School MBA courses impart a comprehensive understanding of global management while the School of Public Policy develops analytic skills of political economics. Gain international experience through study abroad for a trimester or one week.

Frequently Asked Questions

  Are MBA/MPP student eligible to study abroad?

Students in this program are not eligible to study abroad unless they extend the length of their program by one trimester. Additionally, they can graduate with a concentration by completing more units than those required for the degree.

  What is the application process between the two schools?

With the concurrent approval of the deans of the Graziadio School and the School of Public Policy, the three-year joint MBA/MPP degree may be pursued by an MBA student with advanced standing. Applicants for the joint program must apply and be granted admission to both the Graziadio School and the School of Public Policy.

  How many units are required at each school?

This three-year joint MBA and MPP degree program consists of 85 units: 47 units of business courses and 48 units of public policy courses. Students in this program alternate trimesters between the business and public policy schools.

  What courses are offered at the School of Public Policy?

Students should consult the School of Public Policy academic catalog for elective course offerings and course descriptions. Further information on the public policy curriculum may be obtained by contacting the School of Public Policy.
