SEER Certificate Service Requirement

Responsible corporate citizenship cannot be learned by coursework alone. SEER students provide service to the community through a variety of experience-driven projects. Through SEER Certificate service requirement, Full-Time MBA students in depth understanding of Pepperdine's mission, which connects purpose, service, and leadership. The SEER experience aligns with the Graziadio School Hallmarks, which are realized through entrepreneurial, global-minded, values-centered academic programs like SEER.

To complete the SEER program, in addition to course fulfillment, you must be members in Pepperdine Net Impact chapter. And you must also complete one of the following:

• Attend Net Impact Conference and Submit Report to Faculty Chair
• Champion at the Pepperdine Law School Palmer Center Microfinance Program
• Help Plan and Coordinate a Net Impact Project
• Help Plan/Assist in a SEER Symposium
• Help Plan/Assist in the Pepperdine Business Plan Competition
• Help Plan/Assist in the VCLL Case Competition
• Help Plan/Assist in a joint VCLL/Career Service Alumni Event
• Hold a Net Impact, C4C, or VCLL Officer position
• Participate in Graziadio Without Borders Program
• Participate in Social Enterprise Week (SEW) Planning Committee
• Perform 15 C4C volunteer hours
• Provide Research Assistance to a Faculty Member in a SEER Area
• SEER-Approved Internship during School (5+ hours/week)
• Additional SEER Service (subject to approval by the SEER Committee)
