Legacies of the Long Grey Line
Our Story
Recognizing the limits of changing the world one organization at a time, Patrick Williams, PhD, was inspired to educate an army of change leaders. His vision became the Pepperdine MS in Organization Development (MSOD) program.
This project tells the story of 36 alumni and faculty representing a cross section of the more than 1,300 graduates of the program. MSOD founder Patrick Williams referred to these alumni as the Long Grey Line.
Our Alumni
The Pepperdine MSOD program started in 1975 graduating over 1,300 change agents who work around the world in organizations representing Fortune 500 companies, governments and non-profits.
In May of 2019 each alumni and a small group of faculty were asked three questions: How has the program changed the trajectory of your life? What is your legacy as you currently see it? What contribution are you longing to make in the next ten years?
Our Faculty
Called to teach in the Pepperdine MSOD program this unique group of leading edge thinkers and practitioners bring rigor, passion and pragmatics to support each student as they continue their professional and developmental journey.
