Pepperdine Graziadio Global Business Intensive Virtual Global Business Intensive Course Highlights

Pepperdine Graziadio Business School Global Programs Office launched a new virtual Global Business Intensive (GBI) course in August 2020. The virtual course, Passport to the World, was designed for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 cohorts of the Master of Science in Global Business (MSGB) program. The GBI course was led by Pepperdine Graziadio faculty members Kimberly Maderazzo, Dr. Sean Jasso, and Dr. Kyle Murphy. A total of 97 MSGB students attended the program and participated in a cultural tour with interactive experiences. Students also engaged in presentations from companies from six different countries (China, Germany, Ireland, South Africa, Peru, and the United States).

Honoring the Graziadio value of “today—not tomorrow,” Graziadio held the course virtually this year which opened opportunities for the program to be featured in different countries around the world simultaneously. After daily presentations and activities, students were assigned to teams for education to business (E2B) presentations, aiding students with presentation and problem-solving skills. Students, company representatives from all over the world, and Graziadio faculty were able to create a virtual environment, engage, network, and learn Best for the World lessons.
