Our Learning Assurances
Program Learning Outcomes
Each program at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School has established a set of indicators for ensuring graduates meet certain performance standards. Although GPA is a strong indicator, it tells only a small part of each student's academic journey. These indicators measure student performance in alignment with the mission and goals of both the Graziadio School and Pepperdine University. These standards include learning goals and objectives coupled with an observable demonstration of how well students perform.
Standardized Measurements of Student Performance
We've developed and standardized measurements (rubrics) and a reporting mechanism of our outcomes. These standardized rubrics are used to measure how students relate to our expectations at the following measures of success:
-
do not meet expectations
-
meet expectations
-
exceed expectations
The goals and objectives for each program are listed below. In addition, through standardized rubrics, each program's curriculum matrix illustrates how our learning goals and objectives are measured.
