An eight generation Californian, Rob Ortega is well versed in the fields of business and finance. A seasoned real estate professional loan officer, Mr. Ortega previously served in senior leadership within the title and escrow venues.
Professional achievements include receipt of several regional and national corporate awards for distinguished achievement and showcase his commitment for business excellence. Mr. Ortega is an outspoken advocate of lifelong learning. As such, he has served on national committees for defining industry standards for title insurance and escrow. This quest led him to Pepperdine University in 1992 and his EMBA from the Executive Program at the Graziadio Business School.
Mr. Ortega's ability to cultivate, integrate and realize practical business applications and sound solutions and his proven mentoring skills and keen customer sensitivity. Enhanced over a 30-year career, these attributes serve him well as an Executive Mentor and adjunct faculty member within this distinguished EMBA Program, in which he has also served twenty years as a class advisor to thirteen EMBA cohorts.
In his spare time, Mr. Ortega savors family time and hiking along Santa Barbara backcountry trails and volunteering with local non-profit organizations. Mr. Ortega and his wife, Eileen, an escrow business professional, have three children and three grandchildren.
