What was the inspiration to start this business?

"I love being outside. Having spent a lot of time camping and living in unique places and housing situations, I’d identified some problems with existing car camping solutions and I knew I could solve them. This program was the perfect opportunity to make it happen!"

How did your entrepreneurship classes help to move your business forward?

"My entrepreneurship classes have been instrumental in giving me the tools I need to start a business. I’ve made awesome connections through the university network, learned the skills involved in bringing new products to market, and had dedicated time for developing my company with the guidance of people who have done it before."

What have been the challenges you’ve faced so far?

"Connecting with good manufacturers has been a challenge. It could be because of all the change happening in the world right now or because I’m in a pretty niche space (likely a bit of both) but as of writing this I’m still looking for solid manufacturing partners."

What is your hope for the future of your business?

"I hope my product lands well and blows up a sector of the outdoor market that has vast room to grow. Long term, it has potential for an ecosystem of related products that will make comfortable, convenient camping more accessible to everyone. I’m excited about creative expansion and new product development and open to acquisition or partnership with companies with the expertise and resources to make that happen!"
