Davide Accomazzo’s Expert Insight on the Collapse of Silicon Valley Bank Featured on Multiple California News Stations

The biggest news in the finance world has been the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank. The once highly regarded bank experienced a bank run earlier in March after multiple Silicon Valley-based venture capitalist firms instructed their portfolio companies to withdraw their deposits at the California lender. Federal operators have since stepped in to run the bank.

Davide Accomazzo, instructor of finance at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, gave his insight on the collapse in an interview that was aired across several California news stations, including KTXL in Sacramento, KRON4 in San Francisco, KGET in Bakersfield, KSEE/CBS47 in San Diego, FOX5 in San Diego, plus an additional radio interview with KNX in Los Angeles.

“I would say for the most part, nobody needs to panic,” Accomazzo said. “The actions of the Fed and the treasury were spot on.”
