Student Finalists Pitch Their Business Ideas to Bryant Stibel Committee

It is with tremendous pride that we recognize the accomplishments and resilience of our full-time students at Pepperdine Graziadio. Even in times of uncertainty, their professional achievements speak to their commitments and abilities to perform at their highest levels.

Through the Full-Time MBA program at Pepperdine Graziadio, students have the opportunity to be selected for our highly competitive Bryant Stibel Internship program. Consisting of two, seven-week courses, qualifying participants are prepared for work in a private equity and alternative investment firm through a highly experiential learning environment. At the end of the program, our student finalists traditionally present their ideas in-person to a select portion of the private equity firm’s committee. However, due to the current global pandemic, an opportunity to present physically was not a possibility. Nonetheless, students demonstrated resilience and worked to pivot their strategies to adapt to current situations.

An assemblage of thirteen finalists presented their pitches via Zoom to the investment committee of Bryant Stibel, including co-founding member, Jeff Stibel. Each student exhibited professionalism and carried their presentation no differently than if they were physically present. As a result, Jeff Stibel and the rest of the firm’s committee were exuberant for each pitch. It is in moments such as these that it becomes evident of our student’s unwavering devotion to delivering upon their promises, regardless of circumstance. We couldn’t be more proud of each student and would like to congratulate them on their successful pitches. We are pleased to have them as part of our values-based academic community and thank them for their manifestation of being a Best for the World Leader.
