Soren Eilertsen, founder and President of Kollner Group, Inc., works as a consultant and executive coach to CEOs, leadership teams, and boards in for-profit and non-profit businesses spanning a wide array of industries. Educated as a psychologist, Dr. Eilertsen brings a unique integral consciousness perspective to business leadership and strategy. He has assisted numerous companies and hundreds of business executives overcome obstacles to grow collectively and individually. He has also held a variety of senior executive roles in general management, technology, and strategy over the past 30 years.
Most recently, Dr. Eilertsen played a vital role in helping grow lynda.com over six years into a global learning platform with over $150M in revenues, 500 employees and offices in four countries. The company was sold to LinkedIn in May 2015 for $1.5B. Other current clients span entertainment, technology, Internet and financial services in both U.S. and Europe.
Prior to starting Kollner Group, Inc. in 1999, Soren spent 15 years in senior leadership and entrepreneurial roles where he has helped shape the success and strategic direction. In his last corporate role, he was Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Information Technology at Decurion Corporation, parent to Pacific Theatres. As facilitator of strategy development, Soren was instrumental in laying the foundational vision that manifests as Arclight Cinemas today.
Dr. Eilertsen has taught business strategy at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio Business School as Adjunct Faculty since 2011. He has also guest lectured at KaosPilot, an alternative leadership and entrepreneurship school in Denmark.

Dr. Eilertsen is a member of the Association for Strategic Planning (ASP) where he also served on the national board of directors. He is qualified by the Blue Ocean Strategy Initiative Centre at INSEAD and has served several years as an examiner for the prestigious Baldrige National Quality Program. Dr. Eilertsen has published articles in periodicals such as Strategy & Leadership, Strategize, CEO for High Growth Ventures, Leadership Excellence, and the AMA Journal. Having grown up in a small town in Denmark and now living with his family in the metropolis of Los Angeles, he calls both the U.S. and Europe home.
