Center for Women in Leadership Announces New Board Members
The Pepperdine Graziadio Center for Women in Leadership (CWL) executive board welcomes alumna Grace Kangdani (MBA ’08), senior vice president for the Technology Industry Group at Bank of America, and Maria Lane, chief human resources officer at Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling.
Kangdani is the senior vice president for the Technology Industry Group within Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America. In this capacity, she is responsible for leading a team of specialists focused on understanding each client’s unique needs to deliver strategic financial guidance and solutions. The team specializes in serving emerging growth to public companies in the technology industry, across multiple segments of their business—including capital raising and day-to-day operations. In January 2019, Kangdani was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the Top Women in Banking. In December 2020, she was named in Thriving in Their 40s, a list of Top Professionals in Los Angeles, as recognized by Los Angeles Business Journal. In February 2022, she was named to the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2022 list of “Women of Influence” in Finance.
Kangdani earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Fullerton and an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. She graduated from Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
With more than 25 years of human resources experience, Lane has worked for some of the world’s most iconic brands. In her current role as chief human resources officer, she is responsible for creating and leading the human resources strategy for Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling (RCCB), a proud West Coast and Midwest bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola products operating across ten states. RCCB is a division of Reyes Holdings, one of the largest privately held companies in the world and a global leader in the distribution of food and beverage products. RCCB operates 57 distribution centers and nine production facilities and employs more than 12,000 people throughout the territory. Lane is responsible for leading a team of 140 HR professionals across the US.
Lane is a graduate of the executive education program at Henley Business School in London, and holds a master’s degree in international studies from Claremont Graduate University, and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and international relations from the University of California, Riverside.
