Sexual Harassment Disaster | Huffington Post
Dr. Bernice Ledbetter contributes to article
For the Huffington Post, Dr. Bernice Ledbetter writes about the after effects of a
newly robust conversation surrounding workspace sexual harrassment. Dr. Ledbetter
quotes content from recent New York Times columns on the matter of men retreating
from engagement with women for fear of being falsely accused. Says Dr. Ledbetter:
"On one hand we need to send the message loud and clear that ANY sexual misconduct,
harassment, or degradation of women is completely unacceptable. But at the same time
we don’t want to discourage men who genuinely are working hard to support and advance
women in the workplace."
Dr. Ledbetter is Practitioner Faculty of Organizational Theory and Management and
Academic Director of the MS in Management and Leadership program at the Pepperdine
Graziadio Business School, and Director of the Center for Women in Leadership at Pepperdine
University. She contribues regularly to the Huffington Post on matters relating to
gender and diversity in the workplace.
