Pepperdine Graziadio Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance Receives Research Grant from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange

Pepperdine Graziadio Visiting Assistant Professor of Finance, Clemens Kownatzki, PhD, received a research grant from the Chicago Mercantile Group Foundation.  The grant will support his study, “In Search of a Better Volatility”, which aims to shed light on an alternative volatility index, derived from options prices on E-Mini S&P 500 futures, that could provide better estimates of future market risk.
