Pepperdine Highlights Industry-Engaged Learning in Summer and Fall 2025

Pepperdine Graziadio Business School has released its Industry Collaborative Learning Report, showcasing how faculty continue to design experiences that bridge academic theory with real-world practice. Covering both the Summer and Fall 2025 terms, the report highlights projects that deepen classroom learning while equipping students with the professional skills to lead in today’s dynamic marketplace.
During Summer 2025, Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) students traveled to Washington, D.C., where they consulted with the International Monetary Fund, International Justice Mission, and the National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder. Their projects tackled global HR initiatives, leadership assessment, and stakeholder engagement, giving students a platform to address complex, mission-driven challenges. At the same time, MBA and MSML students participated in the Education to Community (E2C) program, collaborating with nonprofits such as Hope the Mission, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County, and PIHRA to strengthen organizational capacity in areas like team building, leadership development, and sustainable structure design.
Summer also marked a milestone for the Bryant Stibel Internship Program, which welcomed its largest and most diverse cohort yet from across Pepperdine’s MBA and specialized master’s programs. Students gained exposure to private equity and alternative investments, refined their skills through investment pitches evaluated by senior leaders, and competed for internships with the firm. The program also featured high-profile guest speakers from across the financial services industry, providing invaluable mentorship and feedback.
Looking ahead to Fall 2025, Pepperdine’s signature E2B™ program continues to be a cornerstone of experiential learning in the redesigned Part-Time MBA curriculum. This term, students are working on client-based projects with organizations including Altais, Union Rescue Mission Thrift Stores, VyTrac Health, Reload Pickleball, Envio Skin, and Amazon. These engagements span industries, including healthcare, consumer products, e-commerce, and financial services, offering students the opportunity to deliver actionable solutions aligned with their areas of academic focus.
Through these innovative programs across both the Summer and Fall terms, Pepperdine Graziadio reaffirms its mission to deliver industry-engaged, purpose-driven education that prepares students to make a meaningful impact as leaders in their fields.
