Pepperdine Graziadio Launched Technology in Business Operations Course with Aon and Anaplan
Pepperdine Graziadio Business School (PGBS) has signed on Aon and Anaplan as University partners and launched an applied learning project course, Technology in Business Operations, taught by Jack Sherrer. Thanks to the new industry partnerships students receive access to 20 hours of online Anaplan training, which results in a Level 1 Model Builders Certification, and Aon to provide real-world scenarios each trimester based on their client organizations (identities will not be disclosed).
The first class of Technology In Business Operations will conclude on November 23, 2020 with all students becoming Level 1 Certified Anaplan Model Builders. For this Fall 2020 project, each student will demonstrate how they can use the Anaplan software to develop a 3-5 year business plan from a human resource perspective for a technology company and are required to present their recommendations to Aon senior management and Anaplan leadership team.
PGBS continues to provide innovative teaching methods and collaboration with industry organizations to bridge the market demand for Certified Anaplan Model Builders and to develop Best for the World Leaders. PGBS students can now graduate with a business degree, a Level 1 Model Builders Certification, and applied experience, giving Graziadio students a competitive advantage when entering the job market.
