Pepperdine Graziadio Faculty Member Christopher Worley Featured in New Article from Society of Human Resource Management in HR Magazine

A new article from the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM)’s HR Magazine features an interview with Pepperdine Graziadio Business School Professor of Organizational Theory and Management, Christopher Worley. 

According to a McKinsey & Co. report released in May 2021, highly successful agile transformation triples the likelihood that an organization will be a top-quartile performer. The report, The Impact of Agility: How to Shape Your Organization to Compete, also found that 65% of organizations that were highly successful in agile transformations reported a positive impact on their financial performance after transformation.

"People see in organizations as all or nothing, that if parts of an organization are not agile, this is a problem," said Chris Worley. "The truth is that some parts of the organization need to be stable, reliable and predictable.”
