Pepperdine Graziadio DBA Alumni Participate in the Executive Doctor of Business Administration Council Conference

DBA AlumniThe Executive Doctor of Business Administration Council (EDBAC) was founded with a mission to foster excellence and innovation in executive doctoral degree programs worldwide. As part of this mission EDBAC holds an annual conference each year to provide learning and networking opportunities to professionals and current Executive Doctor in Business Administration (DBA) students. The 2020 Research That Matters in an Era of Disruption conference was held virtually and included six Pepperdine Graziadio DBA alumni: Sharifa Batts, Rob Bikel, Ana Brant, George Dagliyan, Jolie Gutentag and Gil Keinan. In addition, Pepperdine Graziadio’s professors Cristel Russell and Chris Worley participated as faculty mentors in the Engagement Management Scholarship Doctoral Consortium, which was co-chaired by Graziadio professor John Mooney. Additionally, Jodi Hill, Pepperdine Graziadio director of marketing, presented on a panel relating to DBA marketing efforts.

Proving their Best for the World skills, alumni Rob Bikel and George Dagliyan were selected as two of the five finalists selected as part of the poster session shortlist among 67 DBA students from around the world. Rob Bikel’s dissertation topic was on “Sustainability Paradox Governance” and George Dagliyan’s dissertation topic was on “Adoption of AI Technology: Taking the Bad with the Good.”

Thank you to all our DBA alumni, students, and faculty that participated and made these great events possible.
