Larry Cox Featured in Pepperdine Magazine
A commitment to curiosity is essential for entrepreneurs and nobody knows that better than Larry Cox, Grazaido associate professor of strategy and entrepreneurship. In an article written by Gareen Darakjian for Pepperdine Magazine, Cox’s 30 years as a professor of entrepreneurship was detailed as Graiadio’s entrepreneurship program is in its 12th year of programming. The program is ranked number seven in the country by Bloomberg. Over the years, Cox has refined his process of teaching entrepreneurs and the steps required for success. In the article, Cox remembers several former students, including Michael Lucarelli (MBA ’16) and Paul Sirisuphang (MBA ’16), co-founders of RentSpree, which has changed the landscape of the apartment-finding process. The now 150-person company recently closed on a $17 million Series B round this summer. “That’s the essence of the Graziadio entrepreneurship program,” says Cox. “That’s what we aspire to do. To have students use what they have learned in our classes not only for themselves but for others. It’s remarkable.” Read the full article in the online edition of Pepperdine Magazine. |
