Kim Folsom (MBA ‘02) Named to the San Diego Business Journal Women of Influence 50 Over 50 List

Kim Folsom (MBA ‘02), Chairperson, CEO and founder of Founders First Capital Partners (FFCP), was named one of the 2023 San Diego Business Journal Women of Influence 50 Over 50 honorees. Folsom was honored for her work in building FFCP as “the largest private provider of growth funding for service-based business and the only Black and women-led, revenue-based venture platform raising $150 million in committed capital.”

“My Pepperdine MBA program gave me a great space to learn what it took to launch my first business,” Folsom recently shared with Pepperdine Graziadio. “Having access to the combination of amazing knowledgeable faculty, entrepreneur practices, and collaborative student colleagues was critical to support me with developing and implementing our first business plan.”
