John Figueroa and Christopher Krubert Author Opinion Piece for Medical Economics Magazine


John Figueroa, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School board member and past CEO of Genoa Healthcare, and Dr. Christopher Krubert, a business advisor and lecturer at Stanford’s business school, authored an opinion piece in Medical Economics describing why physicians may be the best choice to lead an ailing organization.

As former CEOs of healthcare companies, John and Christopher opine that there are three main reasons physicians are uniquely qualified to lead not just hospitals, but all types of healthcare organization to success: physicians understand the business of healthcare, the associated challenges of managing a workforce with disproportionately high levels of burnout and the growing role of data in healthcare delivery.
