Dr. Gary Mangiofico Honored With the 2020 OD Network Award for Service to the OD Network

On behalf of the Organization Development (OD) Network, Dr. Gary Mangiofico, executive professor of organizational theory and management, was honored with the 2020 OD Network Award for Service to the OD Network. The award was established in honor of Fred A. Miller to acknowledge significant contributions and sustained service of individuals in support of the OD Network. The award recognizes OD practitioners who, like Fred Miller, have contributed service to the OD Network and have strengthened the Network.

Dr. Mangiofico has served as the president and chair of the board of trustees for the OD Network since 2018. “The role and contribution of Organization Development to improved effectiveness of organizations and the elevation of humanity within organizations is nothing short of outstanding, It's been my humble honor to lead the OD Network and to be able to promote the practice and voice of OD in the world. To my colleagues at the OD Network, thank you for your tireless efforts and contributions to the field, the OD Network, and making this a better world,” said Dr. Mangiofico.

Dr. Mangiofico will be recognized during a virtual award ceremony and is the sole recipient of this award. He has served as the president and chair to the board of trustees for the global OD Network for the past three years and is an iconic role model for OD professionals around the world. With faculty members like Dr. Mangiofico, Graziadio can continue its mission to develop Best for the World Leaders that drive meaningful, positive change in our communities and across the globe.
