Dr. Darren Good Publishes Blog in London School of Economics Business Review


On April 3, 2017, Dr. Darren Good co-published a blog post for the London School of Economics Business Review. The post is based on the authors' paper "Being While Doing: An Inductive Model of Mindfulness at Work" in Frontiers in Psychology. Dr. Good, and his co-author Dr. Christopher Lyddy, explain the inherent disconnect between mindfulness--a focus on the present--and success at work, which is about achieving future accomplishments. According to their research, mindfulness helps many people excel professionally because of a condition called 'Being while Doing,' which is considered "the ideal state of mindfulness at work... individuals to harness the power of Doing mode while avoiding many of its limitations."
