Professor of Decision Sciences, Owen Hall, Jr. PhD Participates in AACSB-BizEd Online Webinar About the Future of Technology

Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management Professor of Decision Sciences, Owen Hall, Jr. PhD  participated in an AACSB-BizEd sponsored webinar on May 31st, 2016 regarding the impact of technology on the future of management education.  Dr. Hall indicated that technology would continue to play a growing role in the delivery of content and know how throughout the management education community of practice. This trend, in turn, will assist in curriculum reform, which is essential for better meeting the needs of the business universe.  Dr. Hall also suggested that crowdsourcing (i.e., knowledge sourcing) and collaboration networks would help implement these reforms. The good news, he stated, is that most business students are already fully engaged in the use of social media, which is the gateway to employing the new learning technologies.
