Biography

Dr. Rhodes serves as a core faculty member with Pepperdine University's Doctoral Programs in Organizational Change and Organizational Leadership and MBA Programs where he teaches courses in leadership, applied behavioral sciences, organizational theory, and ethics. He also serves as the Ombudsman for Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

Dr. Rhodes is an entrepreneur who maintains a successful coaching and consulting practice for a variety of privately held and family-owned enterprises. He is an expert in organizational effectiveness and development and understands merger and acquisition integration. Particularly as it applies to ensuring overall acquisition success, boosting profitability, retaining talent, fortifying a strong culture and building, and maintaining key relationships. He is experienced in strategic planning with an emphasis in clarification of mission, vision, and cultural influences in organizations and how those factors influence branding and marketing.

Dr. Rhodes founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of OnCourse Network, Inc., an Internet Education Company. He successfully negotiated the sale of the company to a Silicon Valley publicly traded corporation and subsequently served as a principal with that company in San Jose, California until successfully completing its acquisition and integration growth strategies in 2001, when he joined the Pepperdine faculty as Visiting Professor.

He holds membership in the Academy of Management, The United States Ombudsman Association, The Association for Practical and Professional Ethics, and the Institute for Global Ethics.
