Péan has effectively worked with top Fortune 500 companies in leading teams, performing strategic analysis, implementing process improvement, building relationships and spearheading crisis management.
Focused and tenacious, devising the tactical action plans to translate policy objectives into operative procedures. Dr. Péan’s accomplishments encompass optimal development and advancing innovative healthcare solutions to achieve the safest and highest quality; while maintaining the most cost effective and evidenced-based care that is patient and family-centered.
Known as a respected and motivated leader within the professional networks, Bernard is characterized by peers and senior colleagues as poised and proficient in management reform and care delivery modification of inpatient, outpatient and post-acute services. He has led multidisciplinary teams and developed medical staffs of various sizes to achieve clinical benchmarks.
Through his commitment and dedication to leadership, Dr. Péan continues to excel in his role as a regional chief medical information officer of the Southeast with the AdventHealth. Aside from his professional schedule, Bernard has traveled to over 40 countries and participated in medical missionary work in 9 countries. He is also fluently multilingual in French, French Creole and Intermediate Spanish. He is the father of three daughters, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and is married to his loving wife, Cynthia.
