BSM Celebrates Second Year of Advanced Specialization in Entrepreneurship with Alumni Brunch
Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) program marked the second anniversary of its Advanced Specialization in Entrepreneurship with a celebratory brunch at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. Hosted by MBA candidate Rafael Barrero (BSM ‘23), the event brought together current recipients of the specialization and last year's graduates, fostering a growing network of BSM alumni.
Pepperdine Graziadio faculty members Dr. Virginia Green and Dr. Sean Jasso led the festivities, recognizing the achievements of the students who completed the rigorous program. Attendees enjoyed a delightful brunch and engaged in an entrepreneurial quick pitch game, showcasing their innovative ideas and business acumen.
The Advanced Specialization in Entrepreneurship, designed and taught by Dr. Virginia Green, an esteemed executive and recipient of the 2023 Howard A. White Award for Teaching Excellence, was launched in February 2022. The curriculum, titled "The Entrepreneur's Journey," consists of three two-unit intensive courses that build on each other. The courses cover topics such as innovation, the entrepreneurial mindset, development, feasibility, adoption, and creating market impact through practical application.
The event underscored the Graziadio School's commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent and creating a robust network of innovative professionals ready to make a significant impact in the business world.
