Pepperdine Real Estate Association (PREA) Hosts 3rd Annual "Passing the Torch" Event Celebrating MSRE Graduates and Welcoming New Students
The Pepperdine Real Estate Association (PREA) held its "Passing the Torch" event, celebrating the graduating class of Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) students and warmly welcoming the incoming Fall 2024 cohort.
Graduating students, incoming students, alumni, faculty, and their families gathered for an evening filled with connection and camaraderie, highlighted by delicious food and a vibrant atmosphere. This tradition, now in its third year, was first inaugurated by PREA in 2022. The event underscores one of the core strengths of the Pepperdine MSRE program: a close-knit, family-like community that extends beyond the classroom.
PREA officials, including President Martin de Chavarria, Vice President Brandon Maghen, and Treasurer Jordan Gudger, along with advisor faculty member Heather Boren, hosted and welcomed guests. Special thanks were extended to Garrett Collett (MSRE ‘24) and his family for generously offering the venue and hosting the event.
The "Passing the Torch" event continues to be a cherished tradition within the MSRE program, fostering connections across cohorts and building a lifelong network of real estate professionals.
