Pepperdine Graziadio Business School Education to Business Program Partnered With World Vision

World Vision, a child-focused nonprofit that aims to eradicate extreme poverty, partnered with the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School Education to Business (E2B) program during the spring trimester. Over the last 70 years, World Vision has impacted the lives of more than 200 million vulnerable children by tackling the root causes of poverty. Graziadio students worked with Russ Shumaker, the segment manager of corporations and foundations at World Vision, to develop a strategy that will help World Vision U.S. to grow revenue from foundations via a new microsite targeting technical audiences.

“The E2B program is a great resource for organizations looking for clarity and an outside perspective on solving a business problem,” Shumaker said. “At World Vision, we’ve utilized it twice in the last few years and have appreciated the partnership with both faculty and students.”

The Pepperdine E2B™ program serves as an unrivaled cornerstone to how Pepperdine Graziadio brings hands-on learning into our business programs. MBA students are connected with executives to address complex issues facing today’s most notable organizations. Graziadio alumni have cited E2B as the “best experience” while earning their MBA. The real-world experience for students provides real-life results and innovative ideas for organizations to put into effect.
