Research from Pepperdine Graziadio School and Dun & Bradstreet Featured in Fox and Hounds

A guest column in Fox and Hounds by Betty Jo Toccoli, president of the California Small Business Association, referenced research from the Pepperdine Private Capital Access Index (PCA), a quarterly indicator produced by the Graziadio School of Business and Management in partnership with Dun & Bradstreet. In the article, Toccoli describes the unique challenges of small businesses in accessing funding for operations and discusses how policymakers should move small business issues to the top of their policy agenda, saying, “Informing policymakers about the barriers that inhibit our recovery from the recession– and advocating for the necessary steps to support small business — is a key goal of small business owners.” Fox and Hounds, a website designed to discuss and explain the confluence of politics and business in California, is distributed daily to subscribers, business people, opinion leaders, elected officials and journalists.  Read more here.
