The Pepperdine Graziadio Board Welcomes John Cannito
Pepperdine Graziadio board members are prominent business leaders that provide advice
and counsel to the business school. The university is excited to welcome John Cannito
as the newest board member. Cannito is the President of the PENTA Building Group and
is responsible for PENTA’s performance in all markets. Cannito has more than 30 years
of experience in the commercial construction industry and has been instrumental in
the completion of significant construction projects throughout the Southwest, including
Metropolis Phase 3 in downtown Los Angeles, T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, and numerous
projects in Healthcare, Higher Education, and Hospitality. Since joining PENTA, Cannito
has received certification as a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional
(CCIFP) and has become a LEED AP with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
In addition, Cannito is very involved in the community and, besides serving on the
board for the Graziadio Business School, he also serves on four other nonprofit boards:
Opportunity Village, Special Olympics, Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance, and Junior
Achievement.
