Nelson Granados Interviewed About Elon Musk and Plans for Twitter Acquisition on ABC7 in Los Angeles

On Monday, April 25, Elon Musk made headlines with an agreement to acquire Twitter for roughly $44 billion. Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s Nelson Granados, PhD, and Executive Director of the Institute for Entertainment, Media, and Sports described how Musk’s plan to take over Twitter might impact the world from a business, culture, and entertainment standpoint on ABC7 in Los Angeles.  “In a town square you can’t really control information completely,” said Dr. Granados. Twitter users include highly influential politicians, business leaders, entertainers, activists, and intellectuals — public figures with large followings who in turn shape the public discourse surrounding politics, media, finance, and technology.
