Pepperdine Graziadio Most Fundable Company Frontier Labs Accelerator's standout graduate, Target Arm, has achieved significant recognition with its recent milestone. Target Arm, a pioneer in robotics and autonomy known for its Tular drone launch and recovery system, has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 1 contract by the United States Air Force's AFWERX directorate. The contract, titled "Enhancing Air Force Autonomous Systems with Sensor Fusion Engine (SFE) for Greater Precision, Efficiency, and Extended Operational Range," marks a major advancement in aerial autonomy capabilities.
Target Arm's Sensor Fusion Engine, a key product in its portfolio, will play a central role in this collaboration. The Sensor Fusion Engine, along with the Tular device, the Wrap-Around Flight Controller, and the Maestro Mission Controller, showcases Target Arm's commitment to cutting-edge technological innovation for national security.
