Lynda Palmer Highlights Student Consulting Project with Union Rescue Mission on KABC Radio

Lynda Palmer, Director of the Pepperdine E2B™ program and faculty member at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, recently appeared on Just Help One, a KABC radio show hosted by Frank Mottek (Mottek on Money). She joined Union Rescue Mission (URM) President and CEO Mark Hood and Vice President of Philanthropy Richard Newcomb to discuss the growing collaboration between Pepperdine and URM.
During the conversation, Palmer spoke about the E2B project currently underway in her marketing class, where Graziadio MBA students are partnering with URM to provide strategic recommendations to support the organization’s mission to combat homelessness in Los Angeles. The project exemplifies the Graziadio School’s commitment to hands-on, purpose-driven education, where students apply their business acumen to real-world challenges with measurable social impact.
Palmer also highlighted the broader ties between Union Rescue Mission and Pepperdine University, noting active collaborations not only through the Graziadio Business School but also with the Caruso School of Law and the Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP). These cross-school partnerships reflect Pepperdine’s holistic and faith-driven approach to serving vulnerable communities.
