Pepperdine Graziadio Business School is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Link as vice chancellor for development. In his new role, Link will work closely with the leadership team and focus on advancing the school’s mission and supporting continued growth.

Link is a distinguished leader in the field of educational advancement, bringing over 35 years of experience to Pepperdine. His remarkable career is highlighted by significant increases in charitable gift revenues, the design and execution of innovative appeals, and the successful completion of fundraising campaigns that raised more than $2 billion.

Previously, Link served as regional director of major gifts at Dartmouth, vice president at Thomas Aquinas, Hartwick, and Iona colleges, and president of the Coast Guard Foundation. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Link studied at Iona College, Catholic University, and the Wharton School of Business.

Link expressed his enthusiasm for joining the university community, stating, “I'm delighted to join Pepperdine in preparing purpose-driven leaders. Our world needs more people inspired by the example of George Pepperdine, Blanche Seaver, George Graziadio, and those who follow in their footsteps—who seek the truth, are rooted in faith, and experience the joy that comes from leading virtuous lives.”

Pepperdine Graziadio is confident that Jim’s extensive experience and proven success in fundraising will play a pivotal role in enhancing the school’s academic programs, supporting research initiatives, and enriching the overall educational experience for students.

Please join us in welcoming Jim Link to the Pepperdine community.
