Graziadio Alumna Hiral Patadia Cofounds MANE Rx, a Dermatologist-Developed Hair Care Line Delivering Science-Backed Solutions

Pepperdine Graziadio Business School proudly celebrates Hiral Patadia (MBA ’25), cofounder of MANE Rx, a new dermatologist-developed hair care line designed to bring clinical effectiveness and elevated design to everyday scalp and hair care. Patadia partnered with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Maryam Safaee to create a brand rooted in science, inclusivity, and modern wellness.

MANE Rx launches with its hero product: the first-ever non-aerosol dry shampoo powered by ketoconazole, a dermatologist-trusted antifungal ingredient known to reduce scalp inflammation, itching, dandruff, and flaking. Developed by Dr. Safaee, the formula delivers a residue-free, ultra-fine mist that absorbs oil, adds volume, and refreshes the hair without heaviness or buildup.

Patadia led the creative direction behind MANE Rx, overseeing the bottle design, packaging, color palette, business strategy, and the overall brand aesthetic. Housed in a sleek, custom-designed bottle, this product features a multidirectional nozzle that rotates 360 degrees for effortless, accurate application at any angle. It's presented in the brand’s signature matcha green shade, inspired by calm, earthy tones that reflect wellness, balance, and elevated simplicity. “It was important that our brand speaks to individuals across cultures, hair types, and lived experiences,” said Patadia. 

Thoughtfully formulated to leave no white cast on any hair type, color, or texture, MANE Rx represents a new intersection of dermatology, design, and clinical care, championing both innovation and accessibility.
