Dr. Martha Molina Bernadett and the Molina Family to Open the Molina Family Latino Gallery at the National Museum of American History


Dr. Martha Molina Bernadett (Presidents and Key Executives MBA 01) and the Molina Family will open the Molina Family Latino Gallery at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History on June 18. A Pepperdine Graziadio alumna, Dr. Bernadett is a family physician and member of the founding family of Molina Healthcare, which, in the past, was the largest Hispanic-owned business in the U.S. She currently serves as chief executive officer and board chair of The Molina Foundation. The 4,500-square-foot gallery will present bilingual stories for multigenerational and cross-cultural audiences featuring multimedia, physical objects, and first-person voices. The Molina Family Latino Gallery inaugural exhibition, °Presente! A Latino History of the United States is an introduction to critical concepts, moments, and biographies that shine a light on the historical and cultural legacy of U.S. Latinas and Latinos.The five children - including Dr. Bernadett of Dr. C. David Molina and his wife, Mrs. Mary Molina, an educator, collectively donated $10 million to support the Gallery to honor their parents legacy.
