Pepperdine Graziadio Business School is proud to celebrate alumna Tamara Suminski (BSM ’10, MBA ’17) on her appointment as 2026 President of the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.), one of the most influential real estate organizations in the country shaping policy, advocacy, and industry standards for California’s real estate professionals and consumers.
A third-generation real estate practitioner and internationally recognized industry leader, Suminski has built a reputation for combining deep market expertise with forward-thinking innovation. As Broker-Owner of BEACH Real Estate Group and Co-Owner of Innovate Success Strategies, she is known for her energetic, values-driven approach to elevating real estate practice, empowering agents, and championing consumer protection.
Since entering the industry in 2004, Suminski has been committed to transforming the real estate experience through exceptional service and continuous innovation. An early adopter of technology in real estate, she has helped agents and organizations navigate evolving industry tools and trends while maintaining the highest standards of client care. Her background as a successful hotelier before entering real estate sharpened her passion for customer service and shaped her leadership style.
Suminski is also a sought-after international speaker, trainer, and course developer. She delivers motivational keynotes, designation programs, and professional development workshops across the country and abroad. Through Innovate Success Strategies, she equips real estate professionals with tools for strategic growth, ethical leadership, and long-term success.
Her leadership record is extensive. She served as 2014 President of the South Bay Association of REALTORS®, where she was recognized as 2010 REALTOR® of the Year, and she has contributed to numerous committees and boards at the state and national levels. Her upcoming role as president of C.A.R. places her at the forefront of critical discussions shaping housing policy, homeownership access, and the future of the California real estate market.

Suminski earned both her Bachelor of Science in Management and her MBA with a concentration in Leadership and Managing Organizational Change from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School.
