What is your role in the classroom?
I create, provoke, and bring a focus to discussion. I encourage critical thinking, test assumptions, and illustrate how important it is to have conceptual clarity before identifying and addressing opportunities and problems in companies.
What would you like your students to take away from their Pepperdine experience?
Managers and executives have a profound effect on society and the world. I want my executive students to gain a deeper understanding of their global strategic role and its importance, then calibrate themselves along those responsibilities. I would like them to walk away from the program as stronger and globally-tested strategic leaders.
What makes the Graziadio School's Executive Programs unique?
We focus on executive leadership. We build up quickly and effectively the skills and competencies of our executive participants, emphasizing strategic thinking as well as execution in a global and changing world. Other programs may stop at strategic formulation -- we show you how you execute on strategy.
