Founder Pat William's vision for the MSOD program has attracted esteemed guest faculty over the decades. Our MSOD heritage and culture is steeped in our "long gray line" — foundational thinkers in the OD field who served as MSOD guest faculty and include Roger Harrison, Dick Beckhard, Bob Tannenbaum, Ed Schein, and Warner Burke. The MSOD alumni association feels a duty to keep their work alive and accessible to both Pepperdine University and the public in perpetuity by posting selections of their work.

Articles by Roger Harrison

We are pleased that distinguished OD consultant Roger Harrison has agreed to be the first to post a selection of his work on the MSOD Web site. From conducting sensitivity training laboratories during the 1950s to influencing the way organizations and consultants respond to today's complexity, Roger has significantly influenced the birth and growth of the OD field. He has written numerous articles about OD that have become classics in the field. Just as Roger has helped shape the field of OD, his legacy lives on through our MSOD program. Serving as periodic guest faculty and longtime supporter of the MSOD program at the Graziadio Business School, we say, thank you Roger!
