E2B Partner, National Diversity Coalition, Receives MBA Student Recommendations

The National Diversity Coalition (NDC), a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the diverse communities in the United States through advocacy, collaboration, and economic empowerment, partnered with our Pepperdine E2B™ program to enable our Graziadio MBA students to work alongside the organization and provide marketing recommendations. MBA students were tasked with developing a strategic marketing assessment and plan for NDC’s diversity and inclusion program. Students developed a diversity dashboard that included metrics and marketing techniques aimed to improve NDC’s access to various key industries. Students participated in the E2B experience in Fall 2021, which was led by marketing assistant professor, Dr. Clark Johnson.

"The National Diversity Coalition (NDC) greatly appreciates the partnership with Pepperdine Graziadio School's E2B program. The class prepared focused strategic marketing assessments and plans for NDC to enter the CSR index space across Corporate America. Realistic recommendations by the class on diversity metrics and improving NDC’s market visibility have helped us improve access to industries as NDC strives to advocate for diversity, inclusion, and economic development of the underserved communities. We are thrilled that the students contributed to a real-time game-changing project and will help lead a better path for future generations," said Jin Sung, board chairman of NDC.

The Education to Business (E2B) program serves as an unrivaled cornerstone to how Pepperdine Graziadio brings hands-on learning into our business programs.
