Pepperdine Graziadio Hosted Startup World Cup, Showcasing Ten Contestants


On January 28th, Pepperdine Graziadio hosted ten startups for the Startup World Cup’s regional finale. Of the ten contestants, Limbix was awarded the regional winner and will advance to compete in the Startup World Cup grand finale on May 22 in San Francisco. Limbix builds a virtual reality to improve mental health treatment by making treatment more effective, efficient, and easier to access for patients and clinicians. The Limbix team is led by veteran entrepreneurs and experts in creating high quality virtual reality content. Limbix VR Kit has been sold to 10,000+ mental health clinics and has enhanced therapy by providing patients with a digital therapeutic option.

The Startup World Cup grand finale will host 40 contestants and provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to business leaders and venture capital investors who contribute over $254 billion globally into nascent companies. The winner of the Startup World Cup will also receive a $1 million investment prize.
