Triple Pundit Features Robert Bikel's Opinion on The New Purpose of Business

Robert Bikel, director of the Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible (SEER) Program and instructor of Business and Management, wrote an opinion piece for Triple Pundit where he provides insight on why and how businesses need to find their new purpose.

Consumers are increasingly trending towards ethical consumerism or conscious consumerism, requiring more from businesses and the role they place in complex issues. In addition, investors are increasingly adding pressure to board members and managers to behave more responsibly and to use their resources to help find feasible solutions for the interconnected challenges nested within the capitalist world.
