Dr. Betty Uribe was selected to participate as a speaker at the 2019 Los Angeles Business Journal Women’s Council & Awards. Dr. Uribe is the executive vice president at California Bank & Trust and is responsible for commercial and personal banking throughout Southern California—a $6 billion line of business. Under her leadership, California Bank & Trust has been named the “Best Bank in Orange County” for four consecutive years.  A transformational leader with three decades in the financial industry, she is recognized as an expert in management and financial services with expertise in commercial banking, retail, banking, marketing, public relations, risk management, compliance, and strategic planning. Dr. Uribe’s bilingual and bicultural background has equipped her with the skills to work alongside national and international executives. Author of the international best-selling book: #Values: The Secret to Top-Level Performance in Business & Life, Dr. Uribe is globally known for her expertise in corporate turnarounds and has been honored consistently for her strategic intellect and humanitarian endeavors. She has an MBA in Finance from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with honors from the Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Clinical Psychology.
